According to Deadline, actor Dallas Liu is the latest to join the cast of Marvel’s upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Unfortunately, fans interested in finding out more about who Liu will play and how his character will fit into the fold of Marvel’s next stand alone superhero movie will have to sit tight. As with most specifics with regards to Marvel projects in production, details surrounding Dallas Liu’s character are being kept shrouded in secrecy for now.

Behind the camera, Marvel has tapped Short Term 12 helmer Destin Daniel Cretton to direct the movie. Cretton will be directing from a script written by Dave Callaham, who most recently penned the script for Wonder Woman 1984.

The character was first introduced back in 1973 as part of Special Marvel Edition No. 15. Most recently, the hero has appeared as a member of the Avengers in 2012’s Marvel Now! Publishing event.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is slated to hit theaters on September 3.
