Marvel release dates revealed through 2019, currently all untitled

Marvel has announced five new film release dates that go all the way until May, 2019. None of the movies have titles, but they could reveal when The Avengers 3 will hit theaters.

It’s been a massive week for Marvel, as we head towards their highly anticipated announcements for Comic-Con 2014.

Earlier this week they announced that Thor is now a woman in the comics, Captain America has been replaced by The Falcon and now we have five release dates for untitled films.

  • Marvel Untitled – 7/28/17
  • Marvel Untitled – 11/3/17
  • Marvel Untitled – 7/6/18
  • Marvel Untitled – 11/2/18
  • Marvel Untitled – 5/3/19
The release dates seen above show us that Marvel isn’t playing around with their future. While we knew they had Phase 2 all fleshed out, Phase 3 was still a bit in the air. Clearly that’s no longer the case and we’ll most likely see these films announced at Comic-Con next week.

Hypable will be attending Comic-Con ’14, so be sure to check back next week after Marvel’s Hall H announcements to see which films are being set for each release date.

Could May 3, 2019 be The Avengers 3 release date? The previous two films have both premiered in May, so we wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the third Avengers film would land in May of 2019.

We’re excited to find out that Marvel has so many films scheduled over the next five years and we’ll be sure to update this post as Marvel announces the titles. Look for Doctor Strange to take up one of those slots, which has been a favorite of Marvel’s for quite a while.

We know that Captain America 3 is scheduled for May 6, 2016, so that won’t take up one of the five slots. The only two we know of would be Thor 3 and Avengers 3.

That leaves three titles that we aren’t so sure about. Doctor Strange could take up one slot, while Black Panther could possibly grab another. What if a Hulk solo film was announced for one of the later slots? That would certainly cause pandemonium at Comic-Con.

If Guardians of the Galaxy is as wildly popular as we think it will be when it hits theaters August 1, we imagine Guardians 2 will take up one of these slots as well.

Which Marvel superheroes do you want to see take up the currently untitled release dates?
