Hulu has finally revealed when we can expect Love, Victor to return for season 2!
Fans who fell for Love, Victor can rest easy knowing that new episodes of the hit teen dramedy are just around the corner.
Hulu announced on Thursday (February 25) during its Television Critics Association’s Winter Press Tour presentation that Love, Victor will officially premiere on Friday, June 11.
Season 2 of the highly anticipated series (a spinoff of the big screen’s Love, Simon) is set to be comprised of 10 episodes in total.
The first season of the series found Victor (Michael Cimino) struggling to come to terms with his identity after moving to to an all new school. This time around, season 2 will find Victor entering his junior year at Creekwood High after having only recently come out of the closet.
A new season finds Victor taking on new challenges. Season 1 offered up a great glimpse into Victor’s family dynamics, before leaving us on the edge of our seats with a cliffhanger that found Victor coming out to his parents. In season 2, fans can expect to see the aftermath of Victor’s decision to come out as his family struggles to accept his revelation.
Family isn’t the only thing Victor will have to deal with. In addition, there’s also the matter of his heartbroken ex-girlfriend, Mia (Rachel Naomi Hilson). He’ll also find himself having to navigate the difficulties of being an openly gay star athlete.
It’s not all doom and gloom for Victor though. Amidst the challenges up ahead, we’ll also get to follow along as his newfound relationship with Benji (George Sear) continues to blossom.
All 10 episodes of Love, Victor season 2 debut via Hulu on Friday, June 11.
