What happens when you combine Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies with the wisdom of Parks and Recreation? Only the best comedy fantasy you could ever imagine. It turns out, the immensely quotable dialogue from the Parks and Recreation town of Pawnee is weirdly applicable to the epic quests depicted in the two Tolkien trilogies.

If you want to have some more fun with The Hobbit trilogy, someone recently turned the three long installments into one four-hour-long film. When it comes to Pawnee, here on Hypable we have always been very vocal about our deep love for Parks and Recreation.
