‘Like a Boss’ trailer teams Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne

Like a Boss, a new comedy starring Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne, and Salma Hayek just dropped its first outrageous trailer.

Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne play best friends and business partners in the new comedy Like a Boss. The two open their own beauty business together, but when they become entangled with a very rich businesswoman played by Salma Hayek, things quickly get out of control for the two entrepreneurs.

In the first trailer, we get a bit of a taste of the hijinks to come in their new comedy, Like a Boss. Take a look!

Going into business is always a risky move, and going into business with one of your best friends is even riskier. Priorities and expectations can clash, and visions for the company’s future don’t always match up. And that is precisely the journey we’re heading on in Like a Boss.

While both Byrne’s character and Haddish’s character want to see their business become a success, they both have incredibly different goals for their entrepreneurial endeavor. One wants to become rich to live a lavish lifestyle, and one has a more practical and less luxurious view of their business.

However, when a huge amount of debt forces the two women to bring in a third party to their business (played by Salma Hayek), things quickly get out of control. Hayek’s character offers the women a huge investment to get the company out of debt and provide Haddish and Byrne’s character the lifestyle they want, but they soon realize she only invested in them to steal their ideas and take the credit.

It’s then that Haddish and Byrne’s characters focus on only one thing: taking Hayek’s character down and reclaiming their business. Like a Boss looks like it is going to be one of those slightly outrageous, wacky-but-fun comedies, and with such an amazing cast, it will be hard not to have fun while watching this one.

Like a Boss opens in movie theaters everywhere on January 10.
