Thankfully, fans were quick to download copies of the trailer before it was taken down. Check out the exciting latest KH3 DLC trailer below.

As is seen in the trailer, we will be able to play as Kairi for the first time. She is seen fending off Heartless with bursts of light magic and slashes of her Destiny’s Embrace Keyblade.

Axel, Xion and Roxas team up for battle, with their hearts glowing as they prepare to attack. A group battle of Keyblade wielders versus Heartless enemies shows a flurry of action and magic. Riku leads the fight, with Aqua and Ventus joining his ranks.

The Final Fantasy characters make a return in the trailer, as Riku speaks with Yuffie, Aerith, and Leon in Radiant Garden about Sora’s whereabouts.

The trailer ends as Sora and Riku repeat the opening lines of Kingdom Hearts 1: “I’ve been having these… weird thoughts lately. Like, is any of this for real? Or not?”

Walking on a dark, starry plane, Sora meets Yozora, the protagonist from the in-universe fantasy game Verum Rex. For more information on what Verum Rex is and how it relates to Kingdom Hearts 4, check out our analysis of the KH3 secret trailer.

The KH3 ReMind DLC will have an early release for PlayStation 4 owners on January 23, 2020 and later on Xbox One for February 25, 2020. The first major DLC for Disney/Square Enix’s hit RPG game will follow the events of Kairi and Sora reuniting, leading up to the final moments of Kingdom Hearts 3.
