Looks like fans itching to watch the long awaited Snyder Cut of Justice League won’t have to wait much longer to do so!
On Friday (January 29), HBO Max announced that director Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League would officially be premiering exclusively via their platform on March 18.
The streamer took to Twitter to spread the word, sharing the release date along with some gritty black and white posters for the highly anticipated release, which features the Justice League logo amongst rubble and debris.

Shortly after the news broke, Snyder took to his own Twitter account to share each poster separately, pairing each with the words “Fallen,” “Risen,” and “Reborn.”
Fans first heard word that the Snyder Cut would be debuting via HBO Max during DC FanDome back in August 2020. It was there that we learned that the director’s cut of the film would officially be released in four one-hour parts via the streaming platform.
After all four parts are released, HBO Max plans to release a bundled up version so that those wishing to experience the Snyder Cut of Justice League in one long movie will be able to do so.
Also unveiled last summer was a brand new three-minute long trailer that offered up fans a first look with regards to what they can expect from the director’s long awaited cut. Like the posters revealed today, the trailer plays up the gritty high stakes situation the Justice League must face down for the sake of saving the world as we know it.
