Jordan Peele has some good news for fans who just can’t wait for the Oscar nominee’s next film!
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jordan Peele revealed that he’s already got a tentative time frame with regards to when he plans on getting to work on his next film.
“My next film, I am currently writing it and I’ll direct it for Universal this year,” said Peele who also specified that he plans on breaking ground on the upcoming project toward the end of 2018.
So what’s Peele’s next project going to be about? The director/writer/producer wouldn’t go into specifics. He did however reveal that he’s not done “playing around with the thriller, horror, action fun genre of intrigue.”
“I think tonally it should resemble Get Out,” teased Peele. “That said, I want to make a completely different movie.”
Peele’s Get Out earned the retired actor high praise for the way that it managed to deliver thrills while still raising some incredibly important questions about race.
With that in mind, Peele also went on to say that he’s looking to focus his next film on something other than race.

Up next, Jordan Peele fans can catch the director developing some projects for the small screen. Peele’s upcoming television projects include developing a Twilight Zone revival for CBS’s All Access digital channel.
Additionally, he’s also in the middle of developing a series set in the 1970s and centered around vigilante Nazi hunters. Titled The Hunt, the series is currently being developed as part of the director’s first-look development deal with Sonar Entertainment for TV content.
