Jessica Jones fans rejoice! It looks like the Marvel series is staying put at Netflix!
According to Marvel.com, Jessica Jones season 3 is officially a go over at Netflix.
The good news comes shortly after season 2 of the popular Marvel series made its grand debut via the online streaming platform just last month on March 8.
Fittingly, the global release of the series’ second season also happened to coincide with International Women’s Day.
“The hero will return to her investigative, crime fighting best in another batch of thrilling episodes coming soon,” promised Marvel.com.
Meanwhile, the series also took to its official Twitter account to share the good news about Jessica Jones season 3 with fans around the world.
“Here’s to season 3,” tweeted the series along with a choice gif of Jessica herself.

The second season of the series found Jessica attempting to pick up the pieces of her life after finally doing away with Kilgrave at the end of the first season.
The new crop of episodes also delved into her past, showing viewers that her powers were born out of genetic experiments she was exposed to as a child after a car crash left her an orphan.
As amazing as it was to take a deep dive into another aspect of Jessica’s past in season 2, we’ll be looking forward to seeing what showrunner Melissa Rosenberg has in store for us when the series returns for a third season.
And of course, we’ll also be hoping we won’t have to wait as long as we did for season 2 for Jessica Jones season 3 to premiere on Netflix!
