James Franco hosts star-studded ‘SNL,’ takes on sexual misconduct

This week, James Franco hosted a star-studded episode of SNL with musical guest SZA. Check out some of the highlights from the episode.

Cold Open

SNL mixed a Christmas themed cold open with some more of the craziest political news. In this sketch, kids sit on Santa’s lap and ask questions about sexual abusers and other mainstream political issues.

James Franco Opening Monologue

James Franco opened another episode of hosting SNL by taking questions from the audience. Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill and Steve Martin appeared in the audience because they got tickets to this week’s episode. It was hilarious and awkward all at the same time.

Sexual Harassment Firing

In the first sketch of the night, James Franco and Keenan Thompson played two employees who got fired for sexual assault. However, both guys play vastly different people in terms of their behavior.

Spelling Bee

James Franco played a spelling bee host who clearly had a lot of issues, using all the words to flash back to his troubled childhood.

SZA Performs

Musical guest SZA performed “Love Galore” and “The Weekend.” Check out the performances below.
