The first trailer for Disney’s Into The Woods has arrived!

“I wish… I wish…” asks Cinderella under glimpses of Jack and Rapunzel. “You wish to have the curse reversed?” asks The Witch. You can watch the Into The Woods trailer below:

New footage of several characters debuts in this Into The Woods trailer. Viewers are treated to glimpses of Cinderella’s Prince (played by Chris Pine), Cinderella herself (Anna Kendrick), The Witch (Meryl Streep), The Baker (James Corden), and The Wolf’s hand (Johnny Depp).

Unfortunately we don’t get to hear any vocal performances in this trailer, but it’s a great preview nonetheless.

In addition to a brand new trailer, Disney also released a slew of high-res stills from the upcoming musical, giving us a good look at Cinderella, The Baker, Little Red Riding Hood and more.

Directed by Rob Marshall, Disney’s latest upcoming live-action musical is based off of Stephen Sondheim’s beloved Tony Award-winning musical of the same name, which first premiered on Broadway in 1987. The story intertwines a variety of beloved Brothers Grimm fairly tales including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Bean Stalk, and Rapunzel into one original story. At the center of the plot is an original story arc involving The Baker and his wife (James Corden and Emily Blunt) and their wish to begin a family which, ultimately leads them to cross paths with a witch (Meryl Streep) who has put a curse on them.

Starring Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick, James Corden, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, and Johnny Depp, Disney’s Into The Woods hits theaters on Christmas Day 2014.
