‘Mockingjay, Part 1’ character posters debut: Coin, Finnick, more!

Lionsgate has released a slew of character posters depicting several characters in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1.

The posters were expected to debut on various websites, including IGN and MTV Thursday, but began leaking Wednesday night. Since a few of these posters are leaks, we’ll update with high-res copies once all are available.

These posters depict several District 13 supporters, including President Coin (played by one of the series’ newest actresses, Julianne Moore), Finnick (Sam Claflin), Beetee (Jeffrey Wright), Effie (Elizabeth Banks), Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), and Plutarch (Philip Seymour Hoffman).

Earlier this week District 13 “hacked” the official social media accounts of The Hunger Games and added what appears to be the rebellion’s logo:

The first proper trailer for Mockingjay, Part 1 appeared at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Lionsgate and Samsung teamed up to host a trailer viewing experience for attendees before the trailer was released online. In addition to a special room where you could watch the trailer, the Capitol Gallery offered Peeta and Haymitch-related refreshments, several photo ops, and an area to be sorted into a district. Check out our report from the wonderful event!

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 will open in theaters this November. While we’ve been thrilled by all of the recent promotional material, the sad fact is that we still have over three months to go until the movie is released. In other words, there’s bound to be a gap in all of these exciting videos and photos at some point (or else we’ll get Hunger Games fatigue).
