Michaela Pratt
Michaela is a girl who climbed her way to the top. She started at the bottom in season 3 when she admits to her friends that she was the one who created her own success. She is incredibly resourceful and hardworking. Sometimes Michaela gets lost in her ambition and keen eye for success. In her search for triumph she often pushes those closest to her far away. Michaela has a deep need to prove her value as a student, a professional, and as a woman. She feels she must prove this not to just everyone around her, but to herself, most of all. She is a hard worker, and throughout the show we have seen her take her academic and professional aspirations very seriously. She takes pride great in her brain. For these, and many other reasons, I have sorted Michaela into…
RAVENCLAW!
Asher Millstone
Much like Draco Malfoy, the Sorting Hat would barely need to touch Asher’s head before sorting him into his house. The poor boy is an open book, and hard as he tries he can’t mask who he truly is inside. A lover-boy, a total bro, and a wild child. He has had struggles: the darkness in his past have made him sensitive and sometimes afraid. He tends to mistake this part of him for weakness, but in truth, it makes him all the more stronger. Asher is a true believer in the underdog. He is loud, proud, and sometimes a bit overbearing. Above all Asher has a heart of gold. In many ways I feel like Asher chose his house himself because I didn’t have to do any work to decide that he belongs in…
GRYFFINDOR!
Bonnie Winterbottom
There is a quote by Bonnie that stuck out to me as I began my search for her place at Hogwarts. “I look nice, I know, but that’s just my face.” Bonnie, in many ways, is just like a young Annalise, a comparison which has been drawn multiple times in the show. However, for me, there are key differences between the two. Bonnie is much more contemplative than Annalise; she is also much more sensitive. Bonnie wears her heart on her sleeve while Annalise only lets hers show when it will benefit her. Bonnie is incredibly bright, she is innovative and will do the unspeakable to protect those who have created safety for her. In the end, I have decided that the only house for Bonnie is…
RAVENCLAW!
Frank Delfino
Frank, like Connor, masks who he truly is on the inside. His exoskeleton shows someone who is fearless and full of rage. Someone who takes pride in objectifying and hurting others. This, of course, is a shield created in order to protect the real Frank Delfino. A man who wants nothing more than acceptance, praise, and relationships. Frank is the ultimate people-pleaser. He would do anything in his power to prove his worthiness even if it meant committing murder. He is extremely loyal but also extremely misguided. His greatest strengths have morphed into his greatest weaknesses, but deep down inside, his essence remains the same. Which is why, in a controversial move, I have sorted Frank into…
