For the first time ever the Harry Potter Studio Tour is letting fans enjoy dinner in the Great Hall, and they’re throwing in lots of amazing benefits.
Hogwarts’ Great Hall has always been adored by Harry Potter fans. It’s the place where students gather daily to eat and discuss their days at the castle.
When you think Hogwarts, the first place you think of is the Great Hall.

This December, guests will be able to dine in the Great Hall with fellow fans while the iconic location is dressed for the holiday season. Here’s an early preview of how beautiful the Great Hall will be looking this Christmas:
We hope the house elves are ready for the muggles!
According to the Studio Tour, the Great Hall will “be dressed for the occasion with the original props used in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, including flaming Christmas puddings and hams studded with cherries. A wand will be waiting for you at your table and you’ll enjoy the first two courses of a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.”
A quick look at the menu reveals options like roasted turkey, lasagne, and black forest trifle with cherry shortbread. (How fancy!)
After dinner you’ll tour the Gryffindor Common Room and The Burrow — both of which will be dressed for the holiday. As if that weren’t enough, you’ll then head to Platform 9 3/4 to enjoy “three festive dessert bowls” next to the Hogwarts Express.
Finally, you’ll be able to grab a Butterbeer and stare in awe at the Studio Tour’s Hogwarts castle model, which’ll be covered in snow.
Tickets for this special event are pricey: You’ll be paying $322 per person for the dinner, alcoholic drinks, butterbeer, wand, and overall Christmas experience.
For diehard fans this isn’t too bad a deal. What could be better than Christmas dinner at Hogwarts with friends and family?
