‘Timeless’ season finale exclusive clip: The Time Team meets Harriet Tubman

With the Timeless season finale just days away, the anticipation is real.

Over the last two seasons, Timeless has taken the lives of history professor Lucy Preston, Delta Force soldier Wyatt Logan, and programmer Rufus Carlin and turned them upside down and inside out. But, one thing remains the same: Rittenhouse has plans to change events as we know them and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Along the way, family members like Lucy’s sister have been lost to time, Wyatt’s murdered wife is no longer dead, Rufus has found love and discovered that his mentor Connor Mason was working for Rittenhouse, albeit under pressure of blackmail, the originally-considered-an-enemy Garcia Flynn has turned into an ally, and that’s just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Let’s just say a lot’s happened.

While fans wait to see if Timeless will secure a third season, so many questions remain unanswered. What will Rittenhouse do next? Is Jessica Rittenhouse? How many sleeper agents are there? Where will Rittenhouse strike next?

We may not be able to answer all of those questions, but thanks to this exclusive clip from part one of the two-part season finale, we come face to face with Harriet Tubman (Christine Horn) aka “The General.”

Having personally seen the season finale, I can certainly tell you this isn’t one to miss. The entire team will be forever changed after the events of both “The General” and “Chinatown.”

This two-part finale answers some very important questions about the last two seasons while also opening up new possibilities should Timeless get renewed (fingers crossed).

One thing’s for sure, whatever happens, Timeless fans have a lot to look forward to when the Timeless season finale airs this Sunday, May 13 for a special two-hour finale starting at 9PT/ET on NBC.
