‘Harry Potter’ quiz: The little things of ‘Philosopher’s Stone’

Test your Harry Potter knowledge in this challenging Philosopher’s Stone quiz!

September has begun, and that means it’s the start of a brand new term at Hogwarts! As Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin students make their way to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, and catch the Hogwarts Express to the most magical place in the world, us Muggles can’t help but feel a little left out.

That’s right, another academic year has come, gone, and begun again – and Harry Potter fans are feeling glum – because we still haven’t received our Hogwarts acceptance letters! Here at Hypable, we understand your pain (because we feel it too!). Unfortunately, we can’t smuggle you into the school of withcraft and wizardry. But what we can do is alleviate some of your pain by providing you with as much Harry Potter fun as possible! And so to commemorate the start of a new Hogwarts term, we’re quizzing you on every single book in J.K. Rowling’s iconic saga.

These quizzes are designed to be a little more difficult, to test even the most discerning of fans. If you’re looking for something a bit more Muggle-friendly, why not take some of our other quizzes? You can find out how well you remember ‘Deathly Hallows’, how obsessed with Harry Potter you are, or even if you’re smart enough to be Hermione Granger’s friend.

Today we’re quizzing you on Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (or Sorcerer’s Stone, if you’re American). Released across June 1997 and September 1998, the first entry in J.K. Rowling’s series introduced us to Harry, Ron, Hermione, and all of the other colourful characters we grew up with. It’s amazing to consider the amount of world building and foreshadowing Rowling achieved in such a small and (largely) whimsical book.
