Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy trailer will be released tomorrow, new images featuring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Rocket Raccoon released.
UPDATE (2/18): See fifteen seconds of the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer below! Numerous characters can be seen in this short but sweet preview, including Vin Diesel’s sentient tree, Pratt’s Star-Lord, and Karen Gillan’s Nebula.
Director James Gunn has announced via Twitter that the official Guardians of the Galaxy trailer will premiere on Jimmy Kimmel tomorrow night. He also included three official stills from the trailer that can be seen below:

“Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Rocket Racoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper), Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) and Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista) are on a mission to save the universe in Guardians of the Galaxy.”
“The Milano, the Guardians’ muscle car of a spacecraft, flies high over Xandar, the home of the Nova Corps, in Guardians of the Galaxy.”
“Chris Pratt stars as Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, a child of the 1980s and main Guardians of the Galaxy hero who was taken from Earth when he was 9 and raised in space.”
A Guardians of the Galaxy trailer was rumored to be released during the Super Bowl, but it came and went with half a dozen other film trailers premiering. While footage from the film was well received at Comic-Con, Guardians is still somewhat of a wildcard for Marvel/Disney.
They’re untested characters and a whole new world that doesn’t have the fanbase that we’ve seen gather for Avengers or Iron Man. Fans are excited for it though, as it’s most likely a nice step away from what Marvel fans have become accustomed to.
The highly-anticipated Marvel film features the intergalactic group of Guardians, led by Star Lord, as they make a desperate stand to save the galaxy. Bradley Cooper voices Rocket Raccoon and is joined by Vin Diesel as the tree-like Groot, with Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista filling out the leading roles. James Gunn directed and wrote the script.
