The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, hits theaters today, and an infographic has been released which gives fans an idea of how much it would cost if we wanted to live like the great, Jay Gatsby.

Director Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby, a 1920s American novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, opens in U.S. theaters today. The film takes place in Long Island in the midst of the roaring ’20s, where Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) is lured into the incredible life of his interesting neighbor, Jay Gatsby (DiCaprio). Carraway starts to find cracks in Gatsby’s lifestyle, and obsession, madness, and tragedy ensue.

Jay Gatsby lives a life of lavish, grandiose parties, while indulging in luxurious cars, private planes, speedboats, and a breathtaking mansion that is the cornerstone of Gatsby’s life and as such, this infographic created by Nickolay Lamm of MyVoucherCodes gives us an idea of how much money it would cost to live like Gatsby.
