Grace and Frankie fans can rest easy knowing the series isn’t going anywhere!
According to Deadline, Netflix has officially picked up Grace and Frankie for a sixth season.
The news couldn’t have come at a better time for fans of the hit comedy series which stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda. In fact, the good news comes just days before the fifth season is slated to premiere via the online streaming giant.
There’s no details with regards to what season 6 will entail just yet, although we’re sure fans will have a few theories with regards to what Grace and Frankie will get up to next after season 5 premieres on Friday.
For now, fans of the show can quench their thirst for the comedy by rewatching the hilarious trailer for season 5 below.

Created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, the single-camera comedy series is officially Netflix’s longest-running live-action scripted comedy series.
It centers on two women whose lives get a bit of a shake-up after their husbands (played by Sam Waterson and Martin Sheen) announce that they’re gay and leaving them so they can be with each other.
Grace and Frankie season 5 premieres via Netflix on Friday, January 18. Season 6 of the comedy is slated to premiere sometime in 2020.
