The Queens are returning to their throne. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return as hosts of the Golden Globe Awards in 2021.
It looks like the fourth time’s the charm, as the world’s collective favorite funny BFFs are coming back to host the Golden Globe Awards one more time! They previously hosted the show for three consecutive years between 2013 and 2015.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy made the announcement at this weekend’s Television Critics Association Tour. “NBC has long been the home to two of the funniest people on the planet – Tina Fey and Amy Poehler – and we didn’t want to wait any longer to share the great news that they’ll be hosting the Globes once again,” Telegdy announced.
Adding to the praise, Hollywood Foreign Press Association (the organization who puts on the Golden Globes) President Lorenzo Soria said, “there’s no denying that Tina and Amy’s comedic chemistry is infectious. We can’t wait to see the dynamic duo return to the Golden Globes stage.”
The 2020 Golden Globe Awards were hosted by comedian Ricky Gervais, who has now hosted the show a whopping six times. The telecast played to mixed reviews, as Gervais’s no-holds-barred approach to comedy rubbed some people the wrong way, while some found it to be a highlight of the evening.
We can’t wait to see Fey and Poehler take the stage again in 2021. Between their flawless chemistry, overall hilarity, and the little black book full of funny friends that they usually involve in the broadcast, it’s sure to be a great time.
