Heller’s Catch-22 is one of the most significant novels of the 20th century, with the title now being a popular phrase describing a dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions.
The satirical novel takes place during World War II, following the fictional 256th Squadron on the island of Pianosa in the Mediterranean Sea.
Clooney last starred in Money Monster and Hail, Caesar!.
