Legion may have just started filming this summer, but the show already debuted it’s first trailer today at Comic-Con!
In May it was revealed that Marvel and FX were teaming up for a new television series, Legion. The series will follow the story of David Haller, who has struggled with mental illness since he was a teenager — but he also happens to be one of the most powerful mutants in existence.
The trailer features a very distraught David, trying to explain the unexplainable to what seems like a doctor at a psychiatric hospital. After going off of his medication David is having a hard time telling what is reality and what are his visions. The trailer showcases some fantastic acting and we can’t wait to see more when the show premieres!

The description for Legion reads:
“Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real.”
Legion stars Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Aubrey Plaza, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Katie Aselton, and Bill Irwin. The first season will run eight episodes on FX. Although no specific premiere date has been revealed yet, it is said to hit our television screens in early 2017.
