‘Fuller House’ adds Eva LaRue as Danny’s wife

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our coverage will be reduced. We can't wait to get back to serving you all of the latest fandom news as soon as we can.

What has Danny (Bob Saget) been up to in the years following Full House? He got married!

Danny Tanner’s love life was frequently documented on Full House when the series ran on ABC from 1987 to 1995, but when Fuller House premieres in 2016 on Netflix, Saget’s character will have a wife.

The character’s name is Teri and she’ll be played by Eva LaRue, who has been described in casting calls as “attractive, vivacious… and youthful.” She’ll be pretty in love with Danny as well: She has “quite an appetite for Danny and isn’t afraid to shower him with affection.”

LaRue confirmed her role yesterday via Twitter:

Saget’s deal with the show is still a mystery — will he be a full-time cast member or will he make guest appearances like Full House so-star John Stamos?

When Netflix announced Fuller House they said that discussions with original cast members including Saget and the Olsen Twins were still ongoing. Later the Olsen twins officially turned down the project, but Saget happily signed up.

Fuller House started filming a few days ago. Yesterday we shared several Instagram photos from cast members including John Stamos who were back on set and happy to share pics of their scripts.

Notably, LeRou posted a photo to Instagram about her time on the set but has since deleted it. Did it reveal too much?

Saget shared this photo from the set yesterday in which he shared a photo of Jesse….’s back:

Fuller House’s first season will run over 13 episodes in 2016. We’re glad to see Danny found true love!
