Watch a music video from the Percy Jackson musical, The Lightning Thief exclusively on Hypable!

In The Lightning Thief musical, “D.O.A.” was every night’s biggest showstopper. Short for “Dead on Arrival,” it features Charon (Carrie Compere) welcoming Percy, Annabeth, and Grover to the Underworld. In a bit of a departure from the book, the musical’s Charon wants a music career more than anything. This song makes a rather convincing case for Charon.

Today Hypable is debuting the music video for the song depicting a fun in-studio recording:

With the release of the cast album last week (which made the iTunes Top 10 Albums upon release, because the PJO fandom is mighty), lots of fun videos have been dropping on the internet of the cast discussing the songs (Exhibit A and Exhibit B). But we’ve a special treat for you demigods: a music video of Carrie Compere and the rest of the cast recording “D.O.A.”

The cast album is now available from Amazon, iTunes, and Broadway Records.
