Breakout author E.L. James has penned a journal to help new writers with tips and excerpts from Fifty Shades of Grey.
Inner Goddess, which includes Fifty Shades of Grey branding on the front, is a journal to help writers come up with their own ideas. Peppered throughout the book you’ll find advice from James. The aforementioned excerpts will help (?) new writers start their own stories. The idea for the book was inspired by the fact that James’ fans often ask her how she got started and achieved success so quickly.
The book goes on sale May 1. A picture of the product can be seen below thanks to Entertainment Weekly:
As for a new fiction novel from James, the author spoke about her plans at an Oscar party late last month. It “won’t be nearly so raunchy – and I will probably write it under another name,” she’s told the New York Post. “I’m looking forward to bringing you some new love stories I’ve got planned,” she said to fans recently.
A Fifty Shades of Grey movie is currently in the works with Universal behind it as distributor. The studio is aiming to release the film next summer, but that time frame is not nailed down just yet. Kelly Marcel is the film’s screenwriter, and it’s the only crew aspect of the movie that’s been set in stone so far.
