Eddie Redmayne and his wife of four years, Hannah Bagshawe, welcomed a
future Hufflepuff new baby boy into their family.
EW reports that Luke Richard Bagshawe Redmayne arrived on March 10, 2018, joining the happy couple and their first-born daughter, Iris Mary. Iris is 21 months old.
Redmayne and Bagshawe, 36 and 34, respectively, were married in 2014 and have enjoyed plenty of success since their nuptials, with their growing family and Eddie’s Oscar win for The Theory of Everything and his role in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The couple reportedly opted to keep the sex of their second baby a surprise. During Eddie Redmayne’s appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan in February, he stated “we’re not going to find out. Last time we didn’t know either, and we did that thing where there was basically only one name for each sex that we agreed on.”
The couple made the official announcement in The Times on March 17, but have not made any further comments about the addition to their family.
Congratulations, Eddie, Hannah, Iris and Luke!
