Drake has released a new song with a star-studded music video featuring tons of awesome ladies.
Late on April 6, Drake dropped an amazing new track on all of us after announcing its arrival the night prior, during a surprise appearance at a Majid Jordan concert in Toronto. Variety reports that the rapper also announced that his new album is almost finished, during the appearance.
As if the new song, which samples “Ex Factor” by Lauryn Hill, wasn’t enough, he also released an awesome music video to go along with it. The video boasts a cast more impressive than most Hollywood blockbusters, featuring 20 of entertainment’s most powerful female forces.
The cast includes Olivia Wilde, Rashida Jones, Tiffany Haddish, Tracee Ellis Ross, Emma Roberts, Letitia Wright, Misty Copeland, Issa Rae, Jourdan Dunn, Yara Shahidi, Zoe Saldana, Bria Vinaite, Syd, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Lejonhjarta and Victoria Lejonhjarta.
Each of the stars appear separately, in different locations. They’re featured doing everything from studying in a Harvard sweater to dancing among geometric shapes in the desert. The video was directed by Toronto’s Karena Evans, who has worked with Drake in the past.
