Peyton Elizabeth Lee is on the case as Doogie Kamealoha in the first official trailer for the upcoming Disney+ reboot.
The beloved 80s sitcom, Doogie Howser is gearing up to get the reboot treatment over at Disney+. Now, fans of the original can get a taste for what’s in store when the streamer introduces generations old and new to a teen wiz kid with a penchant for medicine.
Set in Hawaii, the forthcoming medical sitcom centers on Lahela “Doogie” Kameāloha (Andi Mack vet Peyton Elizabeth Lee)— a 16-year-old who, in addition to working her way through the trials and tribulations of adolescence, also finds herself trying to balance life as a teenager with her budding medical career.
Lucky for Doogie, she’s got her mother by her side, who also happens to be her supervisor at the hospital where she’s training.
