Marvel’s Secret Invasion series might have found its newest cast recruit in Killian Scott.
According to Deadline, actor Killian Scott is currently in talks to join the cast of Marvel’s newest Disney+ series, Secret Invasion.
The forthcoming Disney+ original finds Captain Marvel vets Samuel L. Jackson and Jackson Mendelsohn returning to reprise their roles as Nick Fury and the Skrull Talos, respectively.
Based on the Marvel comic book series of the same name, Secret Invasion tells the story of the Skrulls’ slow invasion of Earth. The Skrulls are an alien race who possess the ability to shapeshift into other individuals. It’s a power we’ve already seen them utilize both in Captain Marvel as well as in an end credit scene which rolled after 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.
In the comics, the Skrulls often used their shapeshifting abilities to pose as various Avengers— something we could possibly see as a plot device used in Secret Invasion.
Should negotiations go through, Killian Scott will join a cast comprised of quite a few big names already. Jackson and Mendelsohn aside, others also on board to star include One Night in Miami’s Kingsley Ben-Adir, Oscar winner Olivia Colman (The Crown), and Game of Thrones vet Emilia Clarke.
Specific details with regards to who Killian Scott might play in the series are being kept a secret for the time being.
Disney+ has yet to announce when we might expect to see Marvel’s Secret Invasion series premiere.
