The trailer for Dear White People Vol. 3 is here, and life at Winchester University is as complicated as ever in the new trailer.
Netflix dropped the brand new trailer for Dear White People Vol. 3, and we cannot wait to see what is in store for our friends at Winchester University. This season promises even more real drama about a group of students of color at a predominately white Ivy League university. If you’re not already watching the show, this trailer is definitely going to make you want to hurry up and catch up ASAP.
Vol. 3 of Dear White People has everyone headed towards new beginnings and new adventures. Most notably, however, is Logan Browning’s character, Sam, stepping away from her role hosting the radio show Dear White People to work on her thesis. But it’s a new era for everyone with others exploring new relationships, new communities within Winchester, and everyone is continuing to figure out who they are and where they want to go in the world.
For those who are in college or who have been to college, this season of intense change with your group of collegiate friends is something everyone knows all too well. With the looming specter of graduation and “the real world,” there always seems to be this point when everyone begins to take chances, explore new things, and begin to define who they want to be, and it seems this the phase of college Vol. 3 is exploring.
This season promises to be an exciting one as our friends at Winchester decide who they want to be and how they can get what they want. While also touching on the very real and still ever-present racial dynamics of people of color living in a predominately white environment, this season looks like it is going to be an exciting, hilarious, and engaging third chapter of the series.
And while the trailer might poke fun at the trend of Netflix shows struggling in their third season, if this trailer is any indication, Dear White People Vol. 3 is not about to suffer the same fate. Vol. 3 hits Netflix on August 2, so that gives you just enough time to get caught up!
