House of Hades is hitting store shelves in paperback form, and it will contain an added bonus.
Yesterday morning, author Rick Riordan announced that The House of Hades, the fourth installment in the Heroes of Olympus series, will be released in paperback form on March 31.
House of Hades US paperback arrives March 31. That will be your first chance to read 'The Crown of Ptolemy,' the third PJO/Kane crossover.

The paperback edition of House of Hades will also contain the short story “The Crown of Ptolemy.” This story will be the third — and final — crossover adventure featuring characters from the Percy Jackson series and the Kane Chronicles series.
Riordan explains in a followup tweet that, unlike the previous two short stories, this one will contain all four characters: Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Sadie and Carter Kane. It will be told from Percy’s point of view, which is something fans have been missing from Riordan’s more recent books, as they’re narrated by a whole host of demigods.
"Crown of Ptolemy" short story has Percy, Annabeth, Carter & Sadie. Told 1st person from Percy's POV. More info on e-edition release later.

These crossover short stories are always released in the back of the paperback edition of one of Riordan’s novels, but they are also later released as eBooks for those that may already own the hardcover version and don’t want a second copy of the book.
Better yet, Riordan also states that there are plans to combine the three stories into one book, though there are no details about that just yet.
.@ScWael plz tell me there's some kind of plan to combine all these crossovers into one mini book like the demigod diaries/Eventually, yes.

Riordan will be releasing a coffee table book titled Percy Jackson’s Greek Heroes on August 18. You can read the synopsis here, as well as check out the beautiful cover, illustrated by John Rocco.
The author’s next series, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, will debut in October of this year with the first novel, The Sword of Summer. The trilogy will take place in Boston and focus on Norse mythology.
