On Tuesday (October 27), Netflix announced that actor Jaden Michael has been cast to portray a teenaged Colin Kaepernick in the brand new limited series, Colin in Black & White.

Created by Colin Kaepernick and Academy Award nominee, Ava DuVernay, the forthcoming limited series is comprised of six episodes total.

These days, most might know Kaepernick best for his political activism, which began four years ago in 2016 when the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback decided to start taking a knee during the national anthem in an effort to protest against police brutality and systemic racism.
