This week’s cold open played off of the news that MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hosts were not only in a relationship but engaged. Once again, as you might expect, Kate McKinnon really steals the scene.

Opening Monologue

There are a lot of white guys named Chris leading movies out there right now. Chris Pine took time in his opening monologue to address this situation that is taking over the box offices lately. From Chris Evans, Chris Pratt to Chris Hemsworth — there are a lot of Chris names to remember.

Where In The World Is KellyAnne Conway?

In one of the first sketches of the night, SNL poked fun of the new absence of KellyAnne Conway from the media. After a few gaffes in the last few months it seems that the advisor to the President is suddenly nowhere to be found.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’

Chris Pine and Bobby Moynihan did a spoof of the VH1 show RuPaul’s Drag Race in another sketch. However, these guys work in an auto repair shop and definitely aren’t your typical drag queen fans.

Lost ‘Star Trek’ Episode

Chris Pine, who plays Captain Kirk in the latest Star Trek movies, reprised his role for Saturday Night Live. In this sketch, Bobby Moynihan plays a character that thankfully never made it to the actual show.

LCD Soundsystem Performs

LCD Soundsystem performed two songs during the show this week. Check out “American Dream” and “Call The Police.”
