If you haven’t seen Love, Simon yet, you might be able to do so for free, courtesy of your favorite celebrity.
The stars want you to see this unique and important movie so badly that they’re going to pay for you to do it! Many celebrities, including Matt Bomer, Neil Patrick Harris and Kristen Bell, are buying out entire theatres in their home towns on Sunday, March 25, for fans to see the film.

What’s special about this buy out is that the stars who are taking part had absolutely nothing to do with the making of Love, Simon. They simply saw the movie, loved it, and want as many people as possible to do the same.
Love, Simon was brought to the screen by Greg Berlanti, and is based on the book Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. The story focuses on Simon, played by Nick Robinson, who’s a gay high school student being blackmailed into coming out of the closet. The romantic comedy is receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and fans alike.
Kirsten Bell wrote, “there are so many important stories that don’t get made. I am so grateful this one did,” in her post, announcing her screening of the movie in her home town of Minneapolis.
