Christmas came early for Captain Marvel fans who just can’t wait to get another look at Marvel’s next big screen superhero.
Marvel Studios unveiled a brand new trailer for Captain Marvel during ESPN’s Monday Night Football game. The newest trailer for the film builds upon the epic introduction we got to Carol Danvers in the first trailer for Captain Marvel, which debuted back in September.
It also breaks down the basics of who’s on which side of the impending war.
As Nick Fury sums up from the get-go, “Skrulls are the bad guys.”
And then there are the Kree, a race of noble warrior heroes.
While there’s a bit of overlap with what we’ve seen in the previous teaser, the new trailer for the film is jam-packed with tons of exciting brand new footage.

The film is set in the 1990s and follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the most powerful superheroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself with a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
Directed by Ana Boded and Ryan Fleck, the film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Lee Pace, Gemma Chan, Anette Bening, Clarke Gregg, Jude Law, Dijon Honsou, and Lashana Lynch.
Captain Marvel flies into theaters next year on March 8, 2019.
