BTS Jin’s Birthday: Looking back on Kim Seokjin’s big day through the years

Worldwide handsome’s big day is almost here, and to celebrate Jin’s birthday, here’s a look at how BTS has commemorated the day through the years!

Kim Seokjin, who goes by the name Jin on stage, was born on December 4, 1992. While Jin’s birthday is celebrated each year on December 4 in Korea, internationally it begins the day prior because of time zone differences.

This year, the adult child will be turning 27 (international age), and we’re looking forward to another year of his eternal youth!

To get ready for his birthday, here’s a look at how BTS has celebrated Jin’s birthday since their debut in 2013 up till now!

2013:

BTS celebrated Jin’s birthday for the first time in 2013 with each of the members uploading a picture with a message. Jin also tweeted a few times for ARMYs!

2014:

Jin’s birthday coincided with MAMA in 2014, so there weren’t as many tweets about his birthday as the previous year. However, Jin himself uploaded a special baby picture that he got from his parents!

2015:

In 2015, Jin’s Birthday was celebrated with many silly pictures from the other members of BTS! Jin also released a special cover of “난 너를 사랑해 (I Love You)” on his birthday and posted a picture from their dinner.

2016:

BTS celebrated Jin’s birthday in 2016 with a mixture of cute videos and hilarious pictures of their hyung!

2017:

In 2017, we were treated to a video of BTS giving Jin his birthday cake, among their other tweets.

2018:

Last year, Jin tweeted out the sweetest letter to ARMYs which has now become infamous for the part for I-ARMYS, which he wrote, “Sorry to my international ARMY that I am not good at English. But I love you ❤︎” 😭

2019:

Again, the boys were busy right on time for Jin’s birthday with MAMA but that didn’t stop them from celebrating anyways!
