BTS J-Hope’s birthday: Looking back at Jung Hoseok’s day through the years

He’s our hope, he’s our angel – it’s time to celebrate Hoseok’s birthday! Here’s a look back at how BTS has recognized J-Hope’s birthday through the years!

Jung Hoseok, who goes by the stage name J-Hope, was born on February 18, 1994. Due to time zone differences, his birthday is celebrated internationally starting on the 17th!

This year, Hoseok will be turning 26 (international age)! To get ready for his birthday, here’s a look at how BTS has celebrated Hoseok’s birthday since 2014 up till now!

2014:

To celebrate Hoseok’s first birthday after their debut the other members of BTS showed off some of his signature selca poses with their own new snapshots. The result was some adorable teasing between the members and the birthday boy.

A sweet Bangtan bomb was also released, which showed Hoseok getting a birthday message from his parents as he celebrated with the members.

2015:

In 2015 the boys repeated their same style from the previous year. With the members of BTS posting selcas that copied J-Hopes own adorable selcas.

2016:

In 2016 the BTS members changed up their teasing of the birthday boy! This time they posted some funny behind the scenes pictures of Hoseok, along with a funny edit, and a cute selca from Hoseok himself.

2017:

2017 was a busy year for the boys, and there were just a few funny pictures uploaded for Hoseok’s birthday!

2018:

2018 was another busy year for the boys but we did see a few cute and funny posts from the members.

2019:

Last year we got a few tweets from the boys, including an adorable one from Hoseok himself. Along with a great Bangtan Bomb showing the members celebrating his birthday while they were on tour!
