On BTS Bon Voyage season 3, episode 4, “7-1=7” V finally joined up with his bandmates in Malta!
BTS ‘Bon Voyage’ season 3, episode 4 recap:
It’s day 3 in Malta for BTS, and the members quickly split up in two groups to head out for the day! Jungkook drives the first car with Jimin and RM as his passengers. While J-Hope drives the second car with Suga and Jin as his passengers. Naturally there are lots of shenanigans as they all struggle with their navigations again and Suga wants to know who farted in their car. Everyone is also excited to take the cars on the ferry for the first time!
When they’re all on the ferry, they decide to have some snacks as they wait. They’re all excited to see V, who has landed in Malta and will be joining them later.
Once the ferry lands in Gozo, they’re all back to their cars and getting lost again. Suga has to break some bad news to the guys, after getting some information about a personal matter back home, he learns that he has to head back to Korea early to take care of it. Jin is especially upset to be losing his fishing buddy so early in the trip.
The group start their instructional lessons for scuba, while V heads on a quick detour to go to Popeye Village before going to meet up with the others. The boys, minus Suga, who just watches, get into their scuba gear and practice in a pool with their instructor. There’s lots of complaining about the cold water before they get serious and start learning.
Afterwards, the group heads to lunch where everyone seems anxious about Suga leaving. As they’re talking about his exit, Tae ends up arriving to join them for lunch. It picks up the mood as everyone greets him happily and tells him how much they missed him. Jimin and Jungkook show off the henna they got, and Suga and Jin show off their friendship necklaces. V is quick to ask about the room situation at the house and learns about their game to decide his room.
There’s more fretting about Suga leaving them, to which Suga reminds them that they all live together in Korea (in true Suga form 🤣). As the group heads off to have fun with scuba, Suga talks to the cam about having to leave early and leaves messages for all of his band members. He hopes that they’ll enjoy the rest of the trip even though he has to leave early, and wants them to enjoy the time off in Malta. He also hopes that Jin will stop asking everyone if they know who BTS is.
Jungkook, Jimin, RM, and J-Hope go off on their scuba adventure and have a great time checking out what Malta’s waters have to offer, while V convinces Jin to stay behind with him and go on jet skis. They have a great time riding the waters fast and Jin gets into his excited yelling mode. Afterwards, Jin decides to try his hand at diving with some locals even though V won’t do it with him.
After the boys are done playing in the water, they all head back to the cars. Since Suga has already left, V ends up taking his spot in J-Hopes car and turns up the energy with some music. They also end up getting to the ferry first so V breaks out some rice cakes he brought from Korea for them to snack on as they wait for Jungkook, RM, and Jimin arrive, only to remember that J-Hope has all their cash. Luckily, they find out that they can pay with a card and use their own credit card to get on the ferry.
After another ferry ride, it’s time for the group to go horse back riding! V is most excited for this activity since he learned how to ride for the drama he was on, though he warns that it’s been two years since he last rode a horse. The group quickly learns that J-Hope is a little scared of horses and the rest of them don’t really know what they’re doing! They’re also all impressed by Jungkook’s large horse. They enjoy a ride together to watch the sunset and V gets to show off some of the things he learned about riding — giving the rest of the band members something cool to watch.
Done for the day, everyone heads back to the house where V brings in his suitcases. Jungkook, Jimin, RM, Jin, and J-Hope wait in the living room and answer a few of his questions as he tries to figure out which room he wants to pick. They had planned on keeping details a secret, but end up giving away a few hints. After trying to get as much information as he can, V ends up picking the room that Jungkook is staying in.
After the excitement of V’s room picking, they all take showers and get changed into their pajamas’s for the night before dinner. They decide on some quick and easy Ramen after their long day of activities. And they all lament about Suga being gone, their usual chef in the house. Jimin can’t help but yell out “I miss you, Suga” after visiting their room that’s now empty of all Yoongi’s things.
Next week on BTS Bon Voyage season 3, episode 5, the members are heading out camping! It looks like the driving groups will be split into J-Hope, Jin, and Jimin vs. Jungkook, V, and RM. They’ll also stop for pizza, go fishing, and enjoy the water!
