Bridget Jones’ Baby is almost here, and OF COURSE you’re gonna have a mini-marathon of the first two films, right? Right?! But first, a supersized franchise trailer.
You guys, if there is one fandom this writer is 100% committed to loving and defending at all costs, it is the masterpiece that is Bridget Jones.
If you doubt my commitment to Bridget in all her ridiculousness, consider this: I even liked The Edge of Reason.

However you felt about the sequel, however, Bridget Jones’ Diary is obviously a masterpiece, just as it is.
And, if early reviews are anything to go by, Bridget Jones’ Baby will be equally as epic.
(Full disclosure: I’ve actually already seen it, and spoiler alert, it’s amazing. Or, should I say, lamaze-ing?) (Yes, yes I should.)
Clearly, to get the full effect of Baby, you must rewatch the first two movies in the series. But in case you for whatever reason don’t have time for that before seeing Baby (what could be more important?!) — or if you just need to catch your chosen cinema companion up on the story so far — here’s a helpful ultimate franchise trailer put together by Fandango:
Let yourself get swept away by the epic love story of Bridget Jones and Mark Darcy… and Daniel Cleaver… and Jack whats-his-face… in the Bridget Jones trilogy starring Renée Zellweger as the hapless but certainly not helpless London singleton living out our wildest fantasies.
In Bridget Jones’ Diary, Bridget finds herself single in her 40s, and is intent on enjoying the heck out of herself because she’s Bridget, and that’s why we love her.
But just as she’s embracing life as a self-proclaimed SPILF, she meets and hooks up with McDreamy himself — and suddenly she’s pregnant, with no idea who the father is. Because of course it also could be Mark Darcy’s.
The stakes have never been higher, and the drama is wild. Who is the daddy? Who will Bridget choose? How will it all end?!
