This Breath of the Wild glitch is hard to pull off, but may have some legs within the speedrunning community.
Some are calling this Breath of the Wild glitch “bullet time bouncing,” as it requires the player to shield bounce off of the head of an enemy during the slowed down mid-air aiming sequence. Watch the Breath of the Wild glitch in action below.

You have to bounce off of the enemy’s head while it’s in a ragdoll animation, which is no easy feat. However, if successful, you’re able to successfully leap fields and fields away from where you were, albeit with the game choking a bit as it tries to catch up with you.
The first recorded instance of bullet time bouncing was discovered in a compilation video done by Chinese gamers this past August. As you can see in their recording, if you don’t break Link’s fall, you’re going to likely end up killing him.
Already, progress is being made in strides, as Breath of the Wild speedrunner Zant recently demonstrated how he is able to reach Hateno village using the glitch from very, very far away.
Work-in-progress setup for a BTB to Hateno Village! I'm getting some pretty consistent angles here, just a bit concerned about speed/height. It's a start! pic.twitter.com/z6gtmNxWfX

Some of the most impressive progress that Zant has made is that of BTB-ing to the Korok Forest, a location that is full of bogs, fog, and enemies that can make it hard to access certain areas of.

Speedrunners of all sorts of categories have been playing around with this Breath of the Wild glitch, trying to see if it is viable for their type of run. With the ability to leap over large fields of Guardians or even mountains, this kind of glitch is something of a speedrunner’s dream.
