Apple’s highly anticipated Billie Eilish documentary feature film finally has a release date!
In a press release sent out on Monday (September 28), Apple revealed that the documentary feature film, Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry would officially be premiering in February 2021.
The streamer plans to make the highly anticipated documentary available both via Apple TV+ as well as in theaters.
Today’s announcement came paired with a short announcement video that features short clips of some recognizable Billie Eilish songs along with some choice acid green graphics.
News of a Billie Eilish documentary hitting Apple first broke late last year when it was announced that the newly minted studio had shelled out a decent sum to secure the rights to The World’s A Little Blurry.
The documentary feature film, which was made in association with Interscrope Films, Darkroom, This Machine, and Lighthouse Management & Media was directed by award-winning filmmaker, R.J. Cutler (Belushi, The September Issue, The War Room).
Not much is known about the film, which had already been shot prior to when Apple acquired the rights to it. That being said, The World’s A Little Blurry is expected to focus on the “Bad Guy” singer following the release of When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.
Eilish’s debut album dropped last March, and it’s been full steam, ahead for the 18-year-old Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter ever since.
Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry, is set to premiere in theaters and on Apple TV+ sometime in February 2021.
