Netflix’s animated comedy series Big Mouth has been renewed for a third season on the streaming service.
The series, which is helmed by real-life best friends Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg, tells the often messy tale of teenage puberty and everything that goes with it. And, with the season 3 pickup, they have the opportunity to tell many, many more messy stories.

Season 2 debuted in its entirety on Netflix on October 5, and surpassed the high expectations set by its freshman season. It is often hailed as being a relatable and sex-positive portrayal of teenagers and the struggles of puberty, while also being undeniably hilarious.
Big Mouth features the voice work of comedian John Mulaney as Andrew, while Kroll voices Nick, as well as several other characters. Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate, and Jessi Klein also lend their voices to the series.
There’s no word yet about when, exactly, to expect season 3 to premiere, except that it will be at some point in 2019.
