‘Big Brother’ season 17, week 7 highlights: Vanessa is blindsided

Shelli and Steve are up for eviction. Will one of them win Power of Veto? Here are the highlights from the Big Brother season 17, week 7 Power of Veto episode.

1. Vanessa gets paranoid

After Becky refused to make a deal with her, Vanessa worries that there’s a plan to backdoor her. Even though Shelli knows the plan is to evict Vanessa, she doesn’t say anything. Shelli promises to pick Vanessa for the Power of Veto competition if she gets houseguest choice. Vanessa then goes and makes the same deal with Steve.

2. Showmance blossoming

Liz admits that at first her relationship with Austin was strategy, but now that she’s gotten to know him she’s starting to have real feelings for him. She still wants his beard ponytail gone. And Julia is not happy with the showmance.

3. Power of Veto competition

Becky, Shelli, Steve, Austin, Vanessa (Shelli’s houseguest choice), and Meg get picked to play. At the Power of Veto competition the houseguests have to fly down a zipline to view the BB comic studio. They then have to re-create the comics correctly in the shortest time in order to win the Power of Veto. Steve ends up with the shortest time and wins the Power of Veto.

4.Power of Veto meeting

At the Power of Veto meeting Steve uses the veto to take himself off of the block. Becky names Vanessa as the renomination, totally blindsiding her.
