Key scenes from Avengers: Endgame have managed to leak online, leading the directors to ask that fans not spoil the culmination of a 22-film series.
On Tuesday morning, CNBC reported that Endgame footage with “massive spoilers” somehow leaked online, potentially revealing things like character deaths and/or how the remaining Avengers manage to take down Thanos and bring back their friends.
The footage reportedly leaked on Twitter and Reddit, and we presume Disney has been issuing takedown notices to cap the leak.
Hours after the footage leak, the Russo Brothers posted a message on Marvel’s social media channels in which they ask fans to not spoil Endgame. It’s reminiscent of the plea they made last year before the release of Infinity War, which humorously featured Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet beside their letter.
In the Endgame letter, the Russo brothers remind us that that “this is the end. The end of an unprecedented narrative mosaic spanning eleven years and eleven franchises.”

“Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help. When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.”
“Remember, Thanos still demands your silence.”
Disney and Marvel have avoided screening the film for the media as an extra barrier against spoilers getting out there. The movie will debut worldwide beginning next Thursday night.
If you’re itching to see Endgame footage, Marvel released a new preview today to celebrate 10 days until the theatrical release.
