She received her degree in screenwriting from the School of Film & Television at Loyola Marymount University. Soon after, she relocated to the Rockies for an adventurous backdrop.
For fun, Katy enjoys the local comedy scene, volunteering at area film festivals, and breathing in fresh mountain air on the ski slopes. If she could have lunch with any fictitious character, she would veg out with Lorelai Gilmore.
