Not only will this year’s Arrowverse crossover introduce Batwoman, but it will also feature Superman and introduce Lois Lane.
This year’s three-series Arrowverse crossover (Legends of Tomorrow will not be included) will air from December 9-11, as The Flash airs Sunday, December 9; Arrow airs Monday, December 10; and Supergirl airs Tuesday, December 11.
We already knew it would introduce Ruby Rose as Kate Kane, aka Batwoman. Now we’re learning of more super appearances.
Tyler Hoechlin’s Clark Kent/Superman will return for the crossover, according to TVLine. Clark/Superman made several appearances in Supergirl season 2 but did not appear in season 3.
In addition, the crossover will introduce his iconic partner, Lois Lane.
“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse,” Supergirl executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said. “This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”
There is no word as to who might play Lois yet.
Lois will not be the first member of the Lane family to appear, as her sister, Lucy Lane, and her father, General Sam Lane, appeared in Supergirl season 1.
Could this be a clue that Batwoman will hail from Earth-38, Kara’s Earth? It’s not clear why Superman and Lois would appear in the crossover unless it took place on their Earth.
