Paul Rudd and Will Farrell star as doctor and patient in the first trailer for Apple’s all new original series The Shrink Next Door.
There are no shortage of highly anticipated originals coming down the pipeline at Apple TV+, but fans of Paul Rudd and Will Farrell won’t want to miss the duo’s forthcoming limited series, The Shrink Next Door.
Described as a dark comedy, the eight-episode limited series is inspired by true events and centers on the bizarre relationship between psychiatrist to the stars Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf (Rudd) and his long-time patient, Martin “Marty” Markowitz (Ferrell).
“Marty, I have your best interests at heart, but without trust, we have nothing,” says Ike at one point.
“I do trust you,” Marty assures. “I trust you completely.”
Marty might have full trust in Ike, but as the trailer progresses, it soon becomes clear that that trust might be ill placed.
