Last night American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy took to his twitter account to announce the addition of Danny Huston to the cast of season 3 Coven.

American Horror Story: Coven has added another name to it’s short list of male cast members. Danny Huston has been cast to play the role of Fiona’s (played by Jessica Lange) boyfriend. Murphy describes the character as sexy and dangerous!

Fiona is a powerful witch known as a supreme who returns to New Orleans to protect her Coven. It’s also been revealed that Sarah Paulson will play her daughter Cordelia.

It’s not yet clear whether or not the male cast members will also be involed in the witchcraft. But we’re guessing if Huston’s character is described as dangerous, he’ll have some interesting powers!

You may know Huston from Magic City, Hitchcock, Wrath of the Titans, or The Aviator.

American Horror Story season 3 will also star Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Taissa Farmiga, Kathy Bates, Gabourey Sidibe, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone, Emma Roberts, Denis O’Hare, Alexandra Breckenridge, Christine Ebersole and Lily Rabe.

American Horror Story: Coven premieres October 9 at 10 p.m. EST on FX.

Are you glad to see Huston will be appearing on ‘American Horror Story: Coven’?
