Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has found its titular character. Ed Oxenbould will play the unfortunate Alexander.
Disney has been looking for their actor to star in Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and they’ve found him. According to Deadline, Ed Oxenbould, a virtually unknown actor, will play Alexander.
When we say Ed Oxenbould is a virtually unknown actor, we mean it. Perhaps his biggest role is the role of David Vickers on Puberty Blues which airs on Network Ten in Australia. He’s also had some smaller appearances in other TV shows and short films.
Though Oxenbould is very young and inexperienced, his co-stars are quite the opposite. Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner will star alongside Oxenbould as Alexander’s parents.
Here’s the Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day book description on Amazon:

And it got worse…
His best friend deserted him. There was no dessert in his lunch bag. And, on top of all that, there were lima beans for dinner and kissing on TV!

It’s fine to read a short kids story like this, but will audiences really be keen to sit through an hour and a half of it?
