The casts of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter have gone flash-mob-ish for the grand finale of Dubsmash War 2.
The two “smashes” were released simultaneously today, and can be viewed at the Dubsmash War donation hub, Crowdrise.com/dubsmashwars.
We suspect a certain amount of collaboration was undertaken for the final videos of the second Dubsmash War. Both Team Carter and Team S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s videos feature the cast and crew of their respective series dubbing it out under a banner of their team name – with a few dance moves tossed in for good measure.
Hayley Atwell and James D’Arcy lead the fancifully dressed cast and crew of Agent Carter (which seems to include at least one of Toy Story‘s Woody) in a bouncy chorus of Tegan and Sara’s anthem, “Everything is Awesome.” Chloe Bennet and Clark Gregg have embraced S.H.I.E.L.D.’s paramilitary origins, and pump it out with their black-clad cast to Snap’s “I’ve Got the Power” — in front of a pretty boss Team S.H.I.E.L.D. banner.

Fans have until Oct. 16 to vote with their dollars for the victor of the second Dubsmash War. The monies earned will go to two important causes — Team S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s cash will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Team Carter‘s to Stomp Out Bullying. The losing team will donate $2,000 to the winner’s charity, and will perform in a final Dubsmash video choreographed by the winner.
Round One of the second Dubsmash War included cameos from Miss Piggy and Patton Oswalt.
While Round Two went kind of meta, with Stan Lee and Lola recruited for Team Carter, and Supergirl joining the fun for Team S.H.I.E.L.D.
The Dubsmash Wars between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter began at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, and have exploded beyond anyone’s expectations. (The two teams have generated almost $100,000 combined — so far.) The charity initiative was proposed by Gregg and Bennett, after Hayley Atwell pulled a Hail Mary (in the form of Chris Evans) and won the summertime skirmish.
Now all that remains is for the fans to choose their victor. Visit Crowdrise.com/Dubsmashwars to donate to your favorite, enter to win some pretty epic prizes, and do a little good on the side.
After all — isn’t that what Agent Carter and the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are all about?
